The kettle has been boiling for quite some time. Now, I’m ready to make my work available to a wide audience. Sincerely.
1. Why now?
I like to write about “every day.” Whether I am walking on the campus of Duke University, teaching Italian to university students, aiding tourists and students through the streets of Rome, seated at a coffee shop in Buenos Aires, or waiting in the airport terminal in Chicago, life is filled with moments that wish to be expressed and remembered. These moments are in front of us all the time, but these are only noticeable to the ones who pay close attention.
2. Community of Ordinary People
The life of your neighbor is more relatable to your own than the life of Kim Kardashian or Justin Bieber. There is nothing ordinary about Kardashian or Bieber. My purpose is to bring together people who seek to relate to others. Through my poems, my prose, and my podcast Get to Know, you’ll be able to feel less lonely in a world that celebrates celebritism, where only the rich and the famous are recognized.
3. Two times a week
Wednesdays and Fridays. We give our days to Mercury and Venus, the winged god shall deliver you my content and the goddess of love will manifest herself through my words.
